Project 3x3

About the project

The project 3×3, by the Collective Mei 2007, takes ‘cooperation’ to a whole new level. Four different projects from four very different artists give way to examining various possible connections with each other. Besides the more inwards focussed investigation, a research will be conducted into the workings of local, provincial and even international art networks.

The title 3×3 refers to the 3 disciplines (multi media, performance, sculpture) in which the 4 artists are active and the levels (local, provincial and international) on which the cooperation takes place. Media being used are: radio, video, photography, new media, text, theatre and sound.

The collective project-website will not only represent the progression made during the project, but will also function as a means to developing new work. The site offers insight into the cooperative issues faced by the artists amongst themselves and their communication outward while trying to create frontier works of art.

Artist in residence period from 3rd of November 2008 till 14th of December.
Endshow: 13th and 14th of December from 13:00 till 17:00.

Nederlands
